Hi Jakub! You're back from you first stretch at the USA. How was it?
First stretch was pretty good. Most important thing for me was the consistency. My worst round was rated 1020, but I still feel like I didn't have a tournament with 3 good rounds.
Among the four events you participated in, which one do you feel most satisfied with, and why does it stand out to you?
If I don't count the A-tier in Alabama, all my finishes were almost the same - 17th, 15th and 16th. But the one that I am most proud of is Waco because we played 4 rounds and we were able to accumulate more points towards DGPT standings there.
When you're traveling in the States with other Europeans, do you tend to stick together more because you share similar experiences and challenges being away from home?
Yes, most of the Europeans are staying together in the Airbnbs, playing practice rounds together, etc.
Now that you're back home, are you taking a break from events or staying active with some local play? How do you usually unwind between competitive stretches?
I am definitely taking a break from events now but not from practice. I need to figure out some discs in my bag because I lost a couple of them in the States and also some of them changed a little bit after daily throwing.
With the next stretch coming up, have you set any specific goals or targets for yourself?
When I think about upcoming events I don't really think about a specific finish. I just wanna stick to my game plan and do the things that I have been practicing. If I can do that I am almost 100% sure I can finish in top 10.
