Roland Kõur in the bag
Have you heard of Roland Kõur? He's a young Estonian who switched brands in 2023 and is staying with Prodiscus for 2024 as well. Oh, and he's 1000-rated junior who plays in MPO.
Roland: "The brand switch has gone well, and there are no shortcomings in the bag. Honestly, I was quite skeptical when Prodiscus offered me a contract, and I thought I was so attached to some Latitude 64 discs that a change was out of the question. But after trying and testing, I realized that all discs are interchangeable, even those that have been my go-to discs in the bag for a long time. It can be said that I now have new favorites in my bag, and it would seem impossible to part with them.
In the 2024 season, Roland aims to participate in all DGPT Elite and Silver Series European events, and of course, all major Estonian competitions as well.
Let's take a closer look at the discs we can find in Roland's bag.
Jokeri - "Jokeri is my favorite disc for approaches, both forehand and backhand. The disc has a low profile, a flat top, and a straight flight with a reliable fade."
Lazeri - "Lazeri is a straight-flying fairway that I mainly throw backhand. The comfortable rim and good glide make Lazeri very easily controllable in wooded tunnels."
Empire - "Empire is my primary driver. I carry 5 of them in my bag, ranging from understable to overstable. What I like most about the Empire is the wide rim characteristic of a speed 13 disc."
